Step 4: Mount the Pump under the carpet in the spare tire area. Step 5: Take the Nylon Tubing and route them accordingly (Tank Exit to Pump Inlet & Pump Outlet to the front of the car through the driver side grommet) Step 6. Attach the pump's ground wire to the chassis or any solid metal that is free from paint or coatings. (ie. bare chassis under the trunk mat). Use a ring terminal & fastener to ground the black wire. The pump’s red wire will get attached to the Green/Red wire from the ICM(Injection Control Module) Harness, by using the Heat Shrink Solder Butt Connectors. Step 7. Using the tank brackets, mount it around the tank to secure the setup. Using the heavy duty velcro at the bottom of the tank surface can also help to secure for heavy cornering. ICM(Injector Control Module) Harness & Nylon Tubing Installation Guide Step 1: Take the Nylon Tubing from the back of the car and through the driver side gromment. (Remove the door seals and tuck the Nylon tubing underneath to get a clean setup. Step 2: Make a hole in the grommet or drill a 1/2inch next to the grommet, so you can feed the nylon tubing through it. **Please make sure to take extra caution from damaging or puncturing OEM wirings that goes through the grommet. ** Step 3: Take the Green wire from the ICM Wiring Harness(Pump(+) Positive). Tape the wire to the nylon tubing and feed it through the vehicle grommet from the engine bay, and take it to the pump's location in the back of the trunk. Connect wire to Pump(+) by using a heat shrink solder connector. Nozzle & Check Valve & Solenoid Installation Guide *All Hardware MUST BE installed AWAY from hot exhaust & turbo.* Step 1: Using the 1/8" NPT Tap, drill the cold pipe between the throttle body & Boost Map sensor. Step 2: Using the nylon tubing, connect the Nozzle & Check Valve & Solenoid as shown in the reference picture above. The check valve must be installed between the nozzle & solenoid. The Nozzle & nylon meth line to the Solenoid "INLET" must be connected AFTER purging the system towards the end of this guide. Step 3: Assemble the Nozzle & Nozzle holder as pictured below. *Do not connect the nozzle to the pipe until instructed* Step 2: Orange/White - Solenoid(+) Positive (Connect it to one of the black wires of the solenoid by using a Heat Shrink Solder Butt Connector. When one black wire of the solenoid is used as Positive(+), then the other black wire must be used to ground. Step 3: Use a ring terminals & fasteners to ground the both ground wires of the solenoid & ICM Harness You MUST use the OEM Factory Ground locations to ground your wires, nowhere else! Failing to do so can burn up your meth module, and they are NOT covered under warranty. Find a factory ground locations like the picture below. Solenoid & ICM Harness Ground Location Example: Step 5: Connect the other end of the ICM Harness to the ICM(Injection Control Module) CANBUS OBD Harness Installation Guide Step 1: Locate the CANBUS OBD port(aka Diagnostic Port) under the hood, and simply connect and secure it with electrical tape if needed. *If you have been provided with an In-Cabin OBD2 cable, route it thru the grommet and connect it to the in-cabin OBD2 port.* Step 2: Using the provided Posi-tap, strip & connect the Blue wire from the CANBUS OBD Harness & tap the #1 wire on the Map sensor mounted on the intake manifold to get boost pressure signals. Black wire(#4 wire) on the map sensor is ground, so please do not connect it there. Most Platform's Map Sensor #1 Wire is either White/Gray/Blue. Step 3: Connect the other end of the CANBUS OBD harness to the ICM(Injection Control Module) Power Wire Red - 12V Power (Connect it to the double fuse tapper kit by using a Heat Shrink Solder sleeve butt connector. Open up the fuse box under the engine bay. Grab a 15amp fuse from the Sensor1 slot and put it in the fuse tapper that's been provided. You now have two 15 amp fuses on the fuse tapper. One for the existing 15 amp fuse to power the existing vehicle sensor, and another 15 amp fuse to power the meth kit. By now, you should have everything connected except the Solenoid INLET Meth Line & Nozzle. Connect the vehicle battery, Put the vehicle on ON position by pressing Start button twice with the brake pedal depressed. Bluetooth Module & App Guide Step 1: Connect the Bluetooth Module to the ICM(Injection Control Module) Step 2: Download & Install the App Android Users: Click here to download iOS Users: Click here to download Step 3: Launch the App & Go to the Setting Tab. *Your phone's Bluetooth & GPS Location Service must be turned on, and must be grant the access when the app asks you for a permission when you first launch the app. If you accidentally denied the access, then you must reinstall the app or grant the access by manually changing it through the phone's app settings. Step 4: Scroll down and turn on the Auto-Connect feature. Step 5: Go to the Real Time tab, and press Connect. It may take a minute or two to pair and connect. Make sure all 3 (Bluetooth, Uncle Chip, OBD2) are lit up green on the main screen. If they are not lit up green, do NOT move on to the next step, and recheck your ground connections & power wires. Once the app is running as it should, you can now move on to purging the system. Test the Meth Flow & Purge the AIR out of the system Step 1: Put distilled water in the Methanol Tank, and prime the system by pressing "Meth Test Flow" on the main screen or Methanol Setting. The pump should be running as you are purging. Each time you purge, the pump will run for 5 seconds. If the pump stops instantly, it means you have issues with your ground wires/ground locations. So make sure to fix it if you are experiencing this issue. Step 2: Continue to purge until the water/meth is fully spraying out of the meth line that goes into the Solenoid. Purge about a full gallon or two worth of water/meth, while maintaining minimum 30% liquid in the tank. *Do not let the tank run dry, as it will introduce air in the system, and it will no longer flow. If air gets in the pump/line, you must purge the system again. Step 3: Once the system is purged, connect the line back on the solenoid. Then, purge it through the nozzle. Make sure the nozzle is spraying like strong fine mist. Once this is confirmed, use the teflon tapes on the threads of the nozzle & mount the nozzle on the pipe. You can NPT tap the factory OEM pipe, or you can use a NPT bung if you have an aftermarket cold pipe. If you don't want to tap the piping, you can get a BMS Meth Adapter to install the nozzle. Now you can fill up the tank with Methanol Mix (M1 Methanol ~80% content & distilled water ~20% content) Stage4 WMI APP Settings Step 1: Go to the Setting Tab & Select Module Mode to DCAN Mode Step 2: Go to "Methanol Injection Setup" Input the following values and press "SEND" The app will show "SEND SUCCESSFUL" at the bottom of the screen. If it's unsuccessful, SEND again until the data is sent successful. Step 3: Go to "User Adjustment" setting, and input the following Pump Duty values, and press SEND. Confirm SEND Successful. (CAM Setting does not matter) Data Logging Settings: Step 1: Use the following Settings for your Logging & Unit Conversion. This will allow your app to automatically start logging when you press 70%+ Throttle, and it will stop the log 3seconds once your throttle is lifted below 70% input. For a proper log, we recommend going through a wide open throttle at least 5seconds or more. Please send us a log to sales@lap3usa.com for review. Step 2: Go to the main screen and change gauges to Meth Status, Pump Duty, and Intake Air Temperature. Go for a drive and confirm the Meth gauge showing ON under wide open throttle, and OFF during shift & when you let off. The No Fluid light is also used as Meth Status ON/OFF gauge function. It should lit up red only when it's injecting. If the No Fluid light is on all times, it's indicating Meth Injection Faults. It can mean several things. 1. No fluid in the tank and/or Air pocket is introduced in the system Solution: Purge the Air out of the system from the Pre-Solenoid meth line. 2. There is a noticeable amount of Methanol Leak Solution: Find & Fix the leak 3. Kinked Meth Line Solution: Find & Fix the kink to relieve the pressure 4. Bad Ground/Bad Power wire Solution: Find any open circuit of the wires As you are boosting under heavy throttle, it should activate the METH STATUS. Check the Intake Air Temperature to confirm the temperature drop. Normally, IAT(Intake Air Temperature) will sit 20-30'F over the ambient temperature while cruising. Once you activate the meth injection system, IAT will drop closer to the ambient temperature, if not lower! Once they are confirmed, you are good to go!

Please do not use this feature unless you are comfortable with self-tuning. You must know how to read logs, and know that you are responsible for changes you make. User Mapping Data Adjustment Step 1. Get the app connected to the Pro-Tuner. Go to the Setting and select "User Adjustment" Step 2. Press "READ" to load the current User Map. If it loads data successfully, programmed 91 octane tune data will appear. If the app does not load any data and everything stays 0%, please do not proceed. Once the data loads, utilize the loaded 91 Octane mapping as a baseline. If you accidentally pressed "SEND" without loading the data first causing to wipe the data, please contact us for values. Step 3. Adjust Boost, Fuel Bias(Higher % = Leaner AFR), and Methanol Pump Duty by 1-2% at a time, and press SEND. It may take up to 30sec to send & save the data. It will overwrite all previous data. Boost values only affect the User Mode; however, Fuel Bias & Methanol Pump Duty values will affect all modes(2, 3, Meth, User Mode) Utilize the data logging system to monitor changes, and repeat the process if you wish to make more adjustments. Fail Safe Using the metric system, you can set up safe guard to limit the boost pressure. Input 1.00 bar(Pressure at Sea Level) + Desired Boost value of X.XX Bar. For example, if you want the vehicle to go into safe mode at 1.5 bar(21.7PSI), simply add 1.00+1.50 and input 2.50 bar. Speed Control If your speed wires are installed, you can turn them on or off via Pro-Tuner app. IAT(Intake Air Temperature) Control You can turn them on to fool the IAT sensor to reduce timing being pulled from high IAT values. Knock Detection It will remain "OFF," until it detects Knock. If it detects knock, it will show "ON"

1. Unbox the Module and connect the OBDII cable to the Module, and plug the OBDII side into the vehicle’s OBDII port (The OBDII port is located Inside Fuse Box for the Optima / Under the Steering Column on the Sonata) 2. Push the Start Button Twice with the foot OFF the brake. This will put the car into the “On” position. Make sure your cluster is lit up. You must confirm the gear indicator "P" on the cluster/dash. 3. Once the module is connected, the module will make welcome sound. Confirm that the module isn’t making beeping sound. If it continuously makes beeping sound, then start over from #1. (The LED flashing is normal). Do not proceed if it continuously make warning sound as it means the connection is bad. If you have paired your module to your vehicle in the past, skip to Step (5) 4. If this is your first time re-flashing, continue reading to pair the module. Press and hold the “Normal” button on the module until the module makes a sound. Wait a few seconds and release the button. *The module lights will start flickering. And your Gear Indicator on the cluster will turn BLANK. When it is finished the module will make welcome sound & gear indicator "P" will come back on the cluster. This process will take about 4-5minutes. **DO NOT UNPLUG THE MODULE WHILE THE ECU IS BEING FLASHED. YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL “P” COMES BACK. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BRICK THE ECU. Once it is finished, turn the vehicle OFF, disconnect the module, and start over from STEP (2). 5. If you have paired your module in the past, continue reading to flash the tune. Press and hold the desired button until it makes a single beep sound. Wait a few seconds and release the button. - Normal (Stock tune) - Uncle (91+ Octane tune) - Uncle+ (92+ Octane tune) *The module lights will start flickering. And your Gear Indicator will turn BLANK. Pairing & Reflashing for the first time may take up to 4-5minutes.- DO NOT UNPLUG THE MODULE WHILE ECU IS BEING FLASHED. YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL "P" GEAR INDICATOR IS BACK. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BRICK THE ECU. 6. Once the module finish re-flashing, it will make welcome sound. Your Gear indicator on the cluster should now appear “P”. Once you confirmed that the gear indicator is back, turn off your vehicle completely by pushing the ‘Start’ button once more. 7. Disconnect the module, and put them away. You are now tuned by LAP3. *If you just paired the module, please restart the process from Step 1 to reflash the ECU* Please Read the following tips and advices. Advice 1. Do not rev past 6000RPM in Neutral or Park just because you can. It may cause oil starvation & cause spun bearing. Advice 2. Traction Control may kick in during the first two gear wide open throttle. Turn it off if you don't want its interference. Advice 3. Start running 0w40 or 5w40 synthetic oil - change interval of 3000-4000 miles. Theta II T-GDI 2.0T motors have fuel dilution issue & 5w30 will get thinned out quickly due to heat as well. 5w30 will not provide proper protection for the internally lubricated parts. Advice 4. Get Water Meth Injection over oil catch cans/valve cleaners/etc. Catch cans can only reduce carbon build up to a point, but it can never clean & maintain the intake valves and cylinder chambers. Water Meth Injection can actually take care of these GDI problems, and prolong the lifespan of your motor significantly. It will keep the valves nice and clean. Water Meth injection provides significant improvement over an Intercooler upgrade when it comes to cooling. Intercooler upgrades only provide better prevention of heatsoak 20-50'F OVER ambient temperature, while water meth injection will cool the charged air temperature 10-20'F UNDER ambient temperature. Water Meth injection boost octane & prevent pre-ignition and knock You can also upgrade your mapping to Stage 2 & 2.5 for more power(Please email us for pricing)

LAP3 Pro-Tuner V2.5 Install Guide for the Kia Stinger & Genesis G70/G80/G90 3.3T Tools Needed Medium Sized Flathead screwdriver or panel popper tool 10-12 large Zip Ties, Wire Stripper, 10mm Socket set up w/minor extension, Ramps, Lift, or Jack stands, and an Android device with Google Play Store access. About 30min-1hr depending on experience. Sensor Location reference picture Step 1. Lift vehicle or elevate using actual ramps, lift or jack stands & disconnect the battery. *If your vehicle does not have ISG system (Idle Stop & Go), do not lift the car. Disconnect the battery and go to the next step. Step 2 Locate LAMDA sensors 1 & 2 located on the driver and passenger sides as pictured Step 3 Pull back sleeve and locate red wire on each sensor cable Step 4 Strip a small bit of each of the blue wires for the included red Posi Taps for the LAMDA sensor wires Step 5 Apply the Posi Tap to the red wire on each of the 2 LAMDA sensors and then connect the other half of the Posi Tap thats attached to the blue wires coming from the ProTuner Step 6 Locate the section of cable labeled BOOST from the Pro-Tuner. Feed the harness from the back of the motor under the intake manifold to have a cleaner look. Step 7 Locate the vehicle BOOST sensor and disconnect and reconnect corresponding plugs Step 8 Locate the MAP section of the cable and MAP sensor on the vehicle and repeat the same steps as the BOOST sensor Step 9 *(ISG Equipped Vehicle Only. If you do not have ISG system, skip to Step 11)* Locate the CRANK sensor cable NOT LABELED and feed it down the firewall on the drivers side missing anything that gets hot like exhaust etc Step 10 Locate the CRANK sensor(3pin) which is located between the drivers side downpipe (Bend back the heatshield to expose sensor plug) and the engine block/transmission housing as pictured. Then follow the same disconnect and reconnect process as the BOOST and MAP sensors. *Some aftermarket secondary downpipes may require removal to reach the sensor **Once you connected the crank sensor wires, pull the wire back up from the top of the engine bay, and secure them. If the crank sensor harness is hanging loose by the downpipe, you may melt & damage the harness, which will cause drivability issues. So make sure to pull up the harness as much as you can to avoid this issue** Step 11 (Optional Speed limiter Delete - make sure to have your battery disconnected) Locate the ECU harness plug under the plastic cover along the firewall on the drivers side and cut and remove the insulating tape to expose the wires. Then locate the white wire with the black stripe. Cut the white wire with the black stripe. Splice each end of the green and White+Green stripe wire coming from the ProTuner to each of the spliced white wire with the black stripe as pictured. The White/Green wire connects to the white+black wire going into the ECU, and the solid green wire connects to the other other end of the white+black wire. Step 12 Locate and connect power wire from the ProTuner to terminal location pictured (using a 10mm socket set up) and run the wire under the hood seal along firewall to avoid damaging. Step 13 Connect the CANbus cable to the "Diagnostic Port" located next to the ECU. Now you should have only one harness with a white plug, and it doesn't get used as we use it to update firmware. So you can zip tie it with the rest of the harnesses. Step 14: The 2 Pin Gray connector is for the V2 ICM (Water Meth Injection System) & 4 pin white connector is for developer firmware update cable. Use electrical tape to seal them as they are not being used. The V2 Meth Injection system can be purchased @https://www.lap3usa.com/product-page/pro-tuner-v2-meth-injection-kit Step 15: Secure the Pro-Tuner and all wires away from major heat sources like exhaust or turbo housing with zip ties, and connect the main Pro-Tuner Harness plug to the Pro-Tuner ECU. *Please make sure to protect the Pro-Tuner ECU & Harness from water. If you are using a pressure washer to wash the vehicle, please make sure to cover them with something to prevent water damage. Water damage is not covered under warranty.* The remaining white connector is not used, and you can tie it up with other harnesses, organize, and secure it behind the intake manifold for clean install. Once everything is organized, it should look like the photo below. Step 16: Connect the Battery Step 17: Check the Manufacture date stamped behind the Pro-Tuner ECU. Grab your Android/Apple iOS device, install the following PROSS app from Google Play store based on the manufacture date. (*V1 does not have any manufacture date listed on the back) Link to download Pro-Tuner V1.0 App(Manufacture date 2018): PROSS BT V1 Link to download Pro-Tuner V2.0 App(Manufacture date 2019): PROSS BT V2 Link to download Pro-Tuner V2.5 App(Manufacture date 2020): PROSS BT V2.5 Step 18: Start the car and pair the device through the Bluetooth Setting. *If you have V2.5, skip the bluetooth pairing process as it doesn't need to be paired Step 19 When you open the app, it will ask you for serial# on the Setting tab. The Serial numbers are located behind the Bluetooth module. Once its up and running, confirm the 3 indicators (Bluetooth,OBD2,Uncle Chip) on the app are red. If you can't connect to it, try closing and re-opening the app. If it still doesn't pair and connect, re-install the app and repeat the process. Step 18 Select the ECU CONTROL MODE button and to choose your mode. (For V1 Users, scroll down to the next step) V2 & V2.5 Pro-Tuner Mapping : Mode 1 - Stock Map Mode 2 - 93+ Octane Mapping Mode 3 - 95+ Octane Mapping (~5gal of E85 mix w/ 93 fill-up or Race Fuel mix is recommended) Meth Mode - Meth Mapping (Requires V2 Meth Kit & 80% M1 Methanol mix) User Mode - 91 Octane Mapping, which can be customized by the user Pro-Tuner V1 Mapping: Mode 0 - Stock Map Mode 1 - 91 Octane Mapping Mode 2 - 93 Octane Mapping or (91 Octane + ~4 Gallons of E85) Mode 3 - Meth Tune Mapping (80% WMI with a ~500mm Nozzle.
