Went with the Pro-Tuner recently and wanted to share my input. Install was easy, just make sure that you have the most current version of the Pross Uncle Chip app for your phone. Will work with apple ios.
Was interested in the pro tuner from the get go because of the different maps/fuel options that you can run with the vechile. I’m in California and only having 91oct. wasnt cutting it for me. Currently running the 93 map with help of a few gallons of E85. Its readily available in my area, and recently picked up an Ethanol content test kit (Pic below) to make sure that the E percentage was at or slightly below 85, to the make ratios more accurate when inputting them in the fuel mix calculator. After mixing about 3gal flex fuel with the rest 91 I drove lightly for about 20min to let it all mix together.
Another great advantage of the Pro-tuner is All off the live data available for viewing Via the Pross app. Keeping an eye on air-fuel-ratio, among other things, I could make sure that the added ethanol wasn't causing me to run too lean. Definitely happy with the current map I’m running. Car is on another level...
Highly recommend it in many ways. this is just the start for my platform with Lap3. Next I will be looking into the addition of the new Pro Tuner supported methanol injection kit!
