Can i leave the JB4 onboard with the new 1.5ECU that i ordered. I will set the jb4 to map0 (disabled) and disable the windshield switch mode so it wont go over map0 OR does it cause issues with the new ECU

That setup should be okay if JB4 is set to Map 0 and the switch is turned off so it can’t change maps. It usually doesn’t cause issues with the new 1.5 ECU, but it’s always smart to check with your tuner just to be safe. Kind of like using student resume — it’s good to have expert help to avoid problems later.
Upgrading to the 1.5 ECU while still having the JB4 on your CK Stinger 3.3T is something I’ve navigated myself. Setting the JB4 to map0 and disabling the windshield switch mode is a smart move to prevent any conflicts, and in my experience, leaving it onboard like that usually doesn’t cause issues with the new ECU. That said, it’s always good to monitor the car after installation for any unusual behavior, just to be safe. Also, if anyone’s looking for parts or even donor cars for upgrades like this, I’ve found totaled tesla for sale to be an amazing resource for sourcing quality salvage vehicles and parts.

My JB4 failed twice with im n the first 4 months. They swapped it out but I'm done chasing problems, I remove it and cara fine. Whether they want to admit it, it's the module. But they refunded my money, so that was really cool of them.
